A 25-year-old Ottawa County woman is still in shock after receiving a Emerald Green Wild Time ticket as a gift and winning a $300,000 prize!

The lucky 25-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, was gifted the ticket which was purchased at Lincolnshire P/S & Deli, located at 1110 Lincoln Avenue in Holland.

“My uncle bought the ticket for me as a gift, and we sat down and scratched it together,” said the player. “When I revealed a $300,0000 prize, my first thought was: ‘Is this fake?’ I was immediately overwhelmed because I’ve never had this amount of money before! I am still in shock and trying to take it all in.”

The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim her big prize. She plans to invest her winnings.

Players have won more than $39 million playing Emerald Green Wild Time, which launched in December 2022. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $6 million in prizes remain, including two $25,000 prizes and five $2,500 prizes.

In 2023, Lottery players won nearly $1.8 billion playing instant games.
